A Brooklyn State of Mind

About This Episode

Donovan has a conversation with his former classmate and friend, Susan Kent. Susan has an interesting story, from being a Florida native that is transplanted to a small southern town when she was 6 years old, to a life altering event she hid from everyone, including her mother, to living in Italy for a year and finally relocating to Brooklyn where she finally felt at home.

At an early age, Susan felt she didn't belong in the small town of Fitzgerald, GA. She was a black sheep and did her own thing.

Susan is a writer and a storyteller. Listen to her and Donovan reminisce about their high school days and the things that were going on that no one really wanted to talk about and how, unfortunately, things haven't changed much in that same small town.
